Casio has introduced the W738H series of digital watches to the US market. The lineup, which debuted in Japan last month, is now available for $54.95.
The watches are basic, functional timepieces centered around a built-in vibration alarm.

Instead of relying solely on audible beeps, the watch can vibrate for daily alarms, hourly time signals, countdown timer, and stopwatch auto-start.
Design and Features
To ensure the vibration is felt, Casio redesigned the resin band with a shorter hole pitch for a more precise fit against the skin.

The watch features a standard square resin case measuring 47.0 mm by 42.8 mm, with a thickness of 13.5 mm, and weighs 43 grams.
The button controlling vibration settings is color-coded and shaped differently from standard mode buttons for easy navigation. A dedicated front button activates the amber LED backlight.

Internally, the W738H runs on a CR2032 coin battery. Without power-hungry features like Bluetooth or a touchscreen, Casio estimates the battery will last approximately 10 years.
The watch also offers 100 meters of water resistance, making it suitable for swimming.
