Casio has introduced two new G-Steel models under its G-Shock brand, the GST-B1000-1A and GST-B1000-2A.
The watches are set to launch in Japan this August, offering a lighter alternative to previous G-Steel versions.

Design and Build
The GST-B1000 series measures 46.9 by 44.2 mm and is 11.6 mm thick.
A bio-based carbon-reinforced resin case and stainless steel bezel keep the weight at just 58 grams.
Both models use a bio-based resin strap instead of a metal bracelet, making them more comfortable for daily wear.

The GST-B1000-1A features an all-black dial, while the GST-B1000-2A sports a metallic blue dial with matching sub-dial accents.
The silver stainless steel bezel incorporates a subtle brick-pattern design inspired by the original G-Shock.
Features and Specifications
The watches combine Tough Solar charging with Bluetooth connectivity, enabling automatic time sync, smartphone-based adjustments, and a phone finder via the Casio Watches app.

Standard G-Shock features include Carbon Core Guard structure, shock resistance, and 200-meter water resistance.
The analog display is paired with digital functions like a 1-second stopwatch, 30-minute countdown timer, daily alarm, full auto-calendar, and white LED backlight.
Pricing and Availability
The GST-B1000-1A and GST-B1000-2A are available for pre-order in Japan now, with official sales starting later this month.
