Belkin has introduced a new 14-in-1 Thunderbolt 5 Dock in China, priced at 2,299 yuan ($338).

The dock leverages Intel's latest Thunderbolt standard to deliver higher bandwidth, faster charging, and extensive multi-monitor support.

Key Specifications and Features

The dock connects via a primary Thunderbolt 5 upstream port, providing up to 140W of USB Power Delivery.

This is sufficient to charge larger laptops even under heavy use. Belkin includes a 180W power adapter and a one-meter Thunderbolt 5 cable in the box.

Thunderbolt 5 enables standard data transfers at 80Gbps, with dynamic bandwidth allocation reaching up to 120Gbps when high-resolution or high-refresh-rate monitors are connected.

For video output, the dock features one DisplayPort 2.1 and one HDMI 2.1 port, both supporting up to 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 240Hz on compatible hardware.

Two downstream Thunderbolt 5 ports also support video output and provide 15W charging for accessories.

On compatible Windows machines, the dock can drive up to three external 4K displays at 144Hz, or up to four independent screens total.

Mac compatibility depends on the processor: newer Apple Silicon M4 and M5 models support multiple external displays, while older M1, M2, and M3 chips are limited by Apple's hardware constraints.

The aluminum chassis weighs 510g and measures 22.2 by 8.5 by 2 cm.

It includes a USB-C 3.2 port with 30W charging, a second USB-C 3.2 port with 7.5W output, one 10Gbps USB-A 3.2 port, and two 5Gbps USB-A 3.0 ports.

Networking and media are handled by a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and UHS-II SD 4.0 and microSD 4.0 card readers with 312MB/s transfer speeds.

Belkin says the enclosure uses a distributed thermal management system to dissipate heat during extended use.

The dock also includes a physical power button, an LED status light, and a Kensington lock slot.

The dock is backward compatible with Thunderbolt 4, USB4, and standard USB-C devices, though bandwidth and display capabilities will be reduced.
