Vance refused to back down from his claims that the 2020 presidential election was rigged, even after Bill Maher confronted him on Friday's episode of Real Time with Bill Maher.

Maher told Vance that Republicans need to stop crying foul every time they lose an election.
Vance agreed that losing parties should concede, but he remained adamant that the 2020 election was stolen.
Vance blamed technology companies, saying they "were quite literally censoring negative information about the left and promoting negative information about the right."

He argued this "completely obliterated the real open exchange of ideas."
Maher reminded Vance about the Fox News settlement with Dominion Voting Systems, now called Liberty Vote.

Fox paid $787.5 million after a judge found the network's claims about voting machine rigging to be false.
Vance pressed on, insisting tech companies interfered in the election. He never agreed to stop calling the 2020 results fraudulent.
Earlier this year, Vance clapped at the State of the Union address when President Trump again claimed Democrats "want to cheat" in elections.

Maher eventually moved on without resolution, telling Vance, "You're going to get a big pat on the back when you go back to the White House."
