The series finale of "The Bear" paid tribute to Rob Reiner by referencing one of his most iconic films.
Reiner appeared as restaurant consultant Albert Schnurr in three episodes of the Hulu show.

In the final episode, line cook Ebra, played by Edwin Lee Gibson, calls Albert about expanding the restaurant into a franchise.
They reach an agreement, and when Ebra hears Albert's last request — which the audience does not hear — he replies, "As you wish."
Fans of Reiner's work immediately recognize the line from the 1987 film "The Princess Bride," which he directed.

The line is famously uttered by Cary Elwes' character, Westley.
Cary was among many Hollywood figures who paid tribute to Reiner after he and his wife, Michele, were found murdered in their Brentwood, CA home in December 2025.

Their younger son Nick was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, to which he has pleaded not guilty.

County district attorney is pursuing "special circumstances" with a murder conviction, which could make Nick eligible for the death penalty or life in prison without parole.

Nick is currently fighting for a $1.7 million trust payout he was allegedly supposed to obtain two years ago, but a judge will decide the outcome.
