Honor has officially teased the upcoming Magic 9 series, giving fans a first glimpse of its new design and confirming a September launch.
The reveal took place during an event in China, where the brand also introduced its futuristic Robot Phone with a robotic gimbal camera.

The Magic 9 series showcases a significant design shift, moving the large circular camera module to the upper-left corner, unlike the centered design of its predecessor.
The visible design includes a premium metal frame, refined antenna layout, and ARRI branding around the camera module, hinting at a professional cinema-inspired aesthetic.

ARRI imaging collaboration
Honor previously announced a global imaging partnership with ARRI, a German cinema technology company known for its professional cameras.
The Magic 9 series is expected to benefit from ARRI's color science, including ARRI LogC3, ARRI Look, and an ARRI cinema mode.
The lineup is expected to include three models: the standard Magic 9, Magic 9 Pro, and Magic 9 Pro Max.

The series is tipped to be among the first smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro flagship platform.
Other expected upgrades include enhanced AI features, improved imaging capabilities, and possibly dual 200-megapixel cameras with Honor's in-house imaging chip.

Blind pre-orders for the Magic 9 series are already live in China through the Honor Shop.
