The sketch reveals a single rear camera, a first for any Nothing phone.
The name "4b" was confirmed in the teaser video, suggesting the device will be called the Nothing Phone (4b).
The move raises questions about why Nothing is launching an entry-level device under its main brand rather than its affordable sub-brand CMF.

Nothing's cheapest current model, the Phone (3a) Lite, launched at Rs 20,999 but has since risen to Rs 25,000 due to the memory crisis.
Co-founder Carl Pei noted that "memory is now the most expensive component in a smartphone," with costs doubling twice since the Phone 4A was greenlit.
Beyond the single camera, further hardware compromises are expected.
