Vivo has quietly launched a new budget smartphone in China, the Y6c 4G. The device is now available for purchase in mainland China with a single memory configuration.

The phone is powered by a 12nm Unisoc T7225 octa-core processor, which combines two Cortex-A75 cores with six Cortex-A55 cores, clocked at up to 1.8GHz.

Graphics are handled by an Arm Mali-G57 GPU.
It features a 6.74-inch LCD display with a waterdrop notch and 1600×720 resolution.
The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach 1200 nits of peak brightness. Vivo has also obtained TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue-light emissions.

The Y6c 4G packs a large 6500mAh battery, which Vivo claims can maintain healthy performance for up to five years of regular use.
Charging is supported via a 15W wired connection.
This battery capacity is consistent with Vivo's Y60 model, highlighting a focus on longevity in its budget lineup.
For photography, the phone has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.

It also boasts an SGS five-star rating for drop and impact resistance, along with an IP65 rating for dust and water splash protection.
Additional features include boosted 150% volume output, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
An infrared blaster is also included, allowing users to control over 3,000 models of TVs, air conditioners, and other appliances.

The Vivo Y6c 4G is on sale in China in a single 4GB+128GB configuration, priced at 899 yuan (approximately $130).
