Oppo has officially confirmed details about the Reno 16 and Reno 16c, two models headed to the Indian market.
The announcement highlights a new design language and several hardware upgrades.

HoloVerse 3D Design and Durability
The Reno 16 series introduces what Oppo calls India's first HoloVerse 3D design.
The Starry White variant uses a dual-layer optical structure with millions of precision microlenses to create a naked-eye 3D effect, making a planet-like element appear suspended under the rear panel.
The effect shifts with viewing angle and lighting.
Other color options include Twilight Violet and Stellar Purple. The devices also feature a floating glitter effect and a redesigned camera ring.
Durability is a key focus.

The Reno 16 and Reno 16c carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, ensuring resistance against dust, water immersion, splashes, and high-pressure water.
The Reno 16 uses an aerospace-grade aluminum frame for improved structural strength and drop resistance compared to plastic-frame phones.
Display and Dimensions
The Reno 16 sports a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1.6mm bezels, resulting in a 93.4% screen-to-body ratio.
Peak brightness reaches 1,800 nits.

The Reno 16c has a larger 6.57-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,400 nits peak brightness.
Despite the large screens, the Reno 16 measures 8.22mm thick and weighs 182 grams. The Reno 16c is 8.44mm thick and weighs 195 grams.
AI Snap Key and Software
A new AI Snap Key debuts on the Reno series. This customizable side button can launch the camera, flashlight, recorder, translator, and other functions.
It integrates with Oppo's AI Mind Space platform, which combines Gemini, Perplexity, and ChatGPT features for saving, organizing, and retrieving information.
Oppo is also expected to announce the Oppo Bubble accessory and Enco Air 5 TWS earbuds alongside the phones.

The global debut of the Reno 16F, Reno 16, and Reno 16 Pro is scheduled for June 25, while the India launch is expected in early July.
