Coolpad has introduced a new budget smartphone in China called the Coolpad Cool 80. The device targets entry-level buyers with a familiar design and capable specifications.
The Coolpad Cool 80 features a 6.7-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

The front camera sits in a punch-hole cutout, while the phone measures 168.5 x 76.3 x 8.2mm.
Under the hood, the handset is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor.
This chipset has been widely used in affordable and mid-range devices over the past few years.
The phone comes with 6GB of physical RAM and supports an additional 8GB of virtual RAM expansion.

It ships with 128GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for further expansion.
For photography, the Coolpad Cool 80 is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.
The rear design takes inspiration from the iPhone, though the camera arrangement differs slightly.

The device is listed on JD. com with a 4,000mAh battery and 10W charging.
However, these details may not be final, as the battery capacity seems low compared to other contemporary smartphones.
The Coolpad Cool 80 is available in a single 6GB + 128GB variant priced at 819 yuan, roughly $120.
It comes in three colors: Rock Sand Black, Dune Orange, and Gauze White.

Currently, the smartphone is only sold in China through local retail channels and online platforms. Coolpad has not announced any plans for international availability.
