Xiaomi's upcoming flagship series is already generating buzz through leaks, with tipsters pointing to significant display and privacy upgrades.

According to Digital Chat Station and Smart Pikachu, Xiaomi is testing a Pro model with a next-generation 2K display that integrates privacy protection technology.

The feature combines hardware and software to prevent nearby people from viewing on-screen content, enhancing security for messages, passwords, and other sensitive information.

While the device was not named directly, speculation points to the Xiaomi 18 Pro.

The leak follows reports that Samsung is also exploring similar privacy display solutions for future Galaxy flagships.

Smart Pikachu claimed the Xiaomi 18 series is scheduled to launch in September.

The lineup is expected to retain Xiaomi's secondary rear display concept while introducing a customized 200-megapixel LOFIC main camera.

The phones are also tipped to feature displays with larger corner radii, effective 2K resolution, and higher peak brightness than the previous generation.

On the software side, the Xiaomi 18 family is expected to run HyperOS 4, which may introduce a new light-inspired visual style and deeper AI integration across applications.

Recent reports also revealed the series will include a dedicated AI button.

Xiaomi has not confirmed any of these details.

However, if the leaks prove accurate, the Xiaomi 18 series could arrive with one of the biggest display and privacy upgrades seen on a Xiaomi flagship in recent years.
