Motorola has introduced the Moto Pad 70, a new mid-range Android tablet in India, aimed at everyday productivity and media consumption.
The device comes with a stylus included in the box.
Key specifications
The tablet features a 12.1-inch LCD screen with 2.5K resolution (2560 x 1600) and a 90Hz refresh rate.
It offers a peak brightness of 800 nits and covers the DCI-P3 color gamut.
For audio, the Moto Pad 70 has a four-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support.
The tablet measures 6.29mm in thickness and weighs 530 grams, with an IP52 rating for light splash resistance.
It is available in a single color called Pantone Sea Angel.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM.
Storage options include 128GB and 256GB of UFS 2.2, expandable via microSD up to 2TB.
The Moto Pad 70 runs on Android 16 out of the box. Motorola promises two major OS updates (up to Android 18) and security patches through 2030.
The software includes Smart Connect for file sharing and screen mirroring with Windows PCs and Motorola phones.
A 10,200mAh battery powers the tablet, with a 68W charger included in the package. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.4.
The bundled Moto Pen supports 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity, tilt detection, and palm rejection. An optional magnetic keyboard cover is also available, connecting via pogo pins.
Pricing and availability
The Moto Pad 70 will be available starting August 15th via Flipkart, Motorola’s website, and retail stores. The 128GB model is priced at Rs.
33,999, while the 256GB version costs Rs. 36,999.
