At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Xiaomi made its first major standalone appearance, marking a strategic push beyond smartphones in Europe.

The company officially introduced its Mijia smart home brand to global audiences, positioning it under the theme “The Art of Smart Living.”

A massive showcase

Xiaomi's booth spans over 3,300 square meters, its largest overseas exhibition to date.

It features more than 380 products, including large appliances previously limited to China, such as multi-function washers, air conditioners with radar sensors, and advanced refrigerators.

The brand encompasses over 2,000 products across more than 130 categories.

Ecosystem and car plans

The showcase revolves around Xiaomi's “Human × Car × Home” concept, aiming for seamless AI-driven connectivity between devices.

Lu Weibing, Xiaomi's partner and president, confirmed that Xiaomi cars remain on track for a European launch in 2027.

The company has established an R&D center in Munich and signed agreements with major German dealer groups to build a sales and service network.
