Sony may soon expand its affordable headphone lineup with two new models. A fresh leak hints at a possible launch date and pricing for the WH-CH730N and WH-CH530.
According to tipster Roland Quandt, both headphones could go on sale as early as September 7.
The WH-CH730N is expected to be the higher-tier model, possibly succeeding the WH-CH720N.
The reported European price for the WH-CH730N is €69.99. That would be less than half the €149 launch price of the WH-CH720N in 2023.
Despite the lower price, the WH-CH730N is still expected to include active noise cancellation (ANC).
However, it may be heavier than its predecessor, weighing around 220 grams compared to 192 grams.
Color options for the WH-CH730N are said to include black, pink, blue, and sand. Sony might use different names for these shades at launch.
Previous retail leaks suggest the WH-CH730N will have Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
Sony has not confirmed these details yet.
The WH-CH530 is expected to be the more affordable option, with a leaked price of €34.99.
It may come in five colors: black, blue, mint green, pink, and white.
Unlike the WH-CH730N, the entry-level WH-CH530 is reportedly expected to skip ANC. If the September 7 date is accurate, both headphones could appear at IFA 2026 in Berlin.
