Sony has added three new models to its ULT POWER SOUND series: the ULT TOWER MAX, ULT TOWER 7, and ULT TOWER 5.
These party speakers were developed with input from hip-hop artists and emphasize deep bass while offering features for DJs, karaoke, and portability.
All three speakers use newly designed large circular woofers and bigger cabinets, along with Sony's ULT DUCT technology, to deliver deeper low-end and higher volume.
They are aimed at users who want serious bass without needing a full PA system.
Flagship ULT TOWER MAX
The top model, ULT TOWER MAX, is the most powerful bass-focused speaker in the range. It includes DJ connectivity, karaoke features, and built-in wheels for easy mobility.
Inside, it houses three low-frequency drivers (two front, one back), four high-frequency drivers, and a midrange unit.
Both the MAX and TOWER 7 deliver 360° surround sound and use wider casters for easier rolling.
ULT TOWER 7 and TOWER 5
The ULT TOWER 7 is designed to fill a room with strong, deep bass while offering DJ inputs, karaoke, and wheels.
The more compact ULT TOWER 5 packs similar bass performance, DJ connectivity, and karaoke into a smaller, more portable design for smaller parties.
When stood upright, both the TOWER 7 and TOWER 5 have an IPX4 waterproof rating.
Battery life is rated up to 30 hours on the TOWER 7 and 20 hours on the TOWER 5.
Across the lineup, you get XLR, RCA, and USB-C connections, three lighting modes, and four sound profiles switchable via the ULT button.
Pricing and availability
The speakers start rolling out in September 2026 through Sony's website, Best Buy, Amazon, and other authorized retailers.
Pricing is $1,499.99 for the ULT TOWER MAX, $649.99 for the ULT TOWER 7, and $449.99 for the ULT TOWER 5.
Sony is giving people more flexible options that combine stronger bass with better connectivity and actual mobility, whether for casual parties or more serious events.
