A judge has ordered a temporary halt on any distributions from the estate of late Tony! Toni!
Toné! member D'Wayne Wiggins, as his family's legal battle continues.
Court documents obtained by TMZ show the order prevents the estate and trust from sending money to third parties, including donations to his foundation, scholarships, and other grants.
D'Wayne's cousin, Veleta Savannah, who claims to be in charge of the trust and estate, is pushing back in legal filings.
She argues that D'Wayne was examined by a doctor before his death and found to be alert and capable of managing his affairs.
According to Veleta, the doctor determined D'Wayne did not need assistance with financial management or similar aspects of his life.
She says the singer executed his new will and trust the day after that evaluation.
However, other family members object, insisting D'Wayne was under heavy medication and unable to make binding decisions when he signed the papers.
As TMZ first reported, D'Wayne's daughter, Ilahn Wiggins, said her father left an estate worth an estimated $700,000.
Ilahn claimed Veleta told the family she was the trustee after his death and raised concerns about the validity of the new will.
Veleta has consistently denied the claims, citing the doctor's evaluation as proof of D'Wayne's intentions.
She maintains the singer intended to put her in control and chose to cut his children out of the will.
D'Wayne Wiggins died on March 7, 2025, in Oakland, California, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
