Lenovo has introduced the Lecoo Air 14 in China, marking the first commercial laptop built under Intel's Project Firefly initiative.
The device will go on sale today at 8:00 PM China time.

The laptop is priced at 4,499 yuan (approximately $664), with a launch price of 3,999 yuan (around $591).
Ultra-Portable Design
The Lecoo Air 14 features a unibody all-metal chassis that measures just 12.95mm thick and weighs only 990 grams.
It sports a 14-inch display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 300 nits brightness, and 100% sRGB color coverage.

The screen also supports DC dimming.
Under the hood, the laptop is powered by Intel's Core 5 315 processor with six cores and six threads.
It comes with 12GB of LPDDR5 memory running at 5600MHz and a 512GB NVMe SSD. Windows 11 is pre-installed.
Lenovo claims the built-in 50Wh battery can deliver up to 16.8 hours of usage. A 65W USB-C PD charger is included in the box.

For connectivity, the left side offers two full-function USB-C ports, while the right side includes another USB-C 5Gbps port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Intel's Project Firefly
The Lecoo Air 14 is the first laptop to reach consumers under Intel's Project Firefly, which aims to reduce the cost of thin-and-light Windows laptops by standardizing components and adopting supply-chain practices from the smartphone industry.
Intel expects more than 70 laptop designs to be developed under this program.

Currently, Lenovo has only confirmed the Lecoo Air 14 for the Chinese market, with no information on global availability.
