A wild pool party in Palm Springs took a dangerous turn early Sunday morning when bottles were thrown into the crowd, leaving nine people injured and seven hospitalized.
The incident occurred during Splash House's "After Hours" event at the Palm Springs Air Museum, where The Chainsmokers were headlining.

According to Palm Springs Police, officers working the festival were alerted to an assault around 1:37 AM after a dispute escalated and bottles were hurled into the crowd.

Nine partygoers who were not involved in the original altercation sustained injuries, with some cut by broken glass.
Seven were taken to a local hospital, while two others were treated at the scene. All injuries were described as minor.

The Chainsmokers performed at the overnight event, with Ship Wrek also on the bill.

Police are investigating the incident and have not publicly identified any suspects.
