Early leaks suggest Samsung is planning a new Galaxy S27 Pro model for next year, positioned between the Plus and Ultra variants.
The device is rumored to feature an ALoP telephoto lens with approximately 3.5x optical zoom paired with a 50MP sensor.

Some insiders believe this setup could produce better-looking shots than the Ultra in commonly used zoom ranges.
Why the Pro might beat the Ultra
The S27 Ultra is expected to drop its dedicated 3x telephoto lens and rely more on cropping from the 200MP main camera for mid-range zoom.
In contrast, the S27 Pro would keep a dedicated optical zoom camera optimized for that range.

This should improve portraits, indoor zoom shots, and everyday photography between roughly 2x and 5x.
Both models may share the same new 200MP main sensor and an upgraded 50MP ultrawide camera.
The biggest differences could come down to zoom hardware, size, and premium extras like the S Pen.
