Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro globally.
Both smartphones belong to the premium flagship lineup and feature Leica-branded cameras, large silicon-carbon batteries, AMOLED displays, and MediaTek chipsets.

While the two phones share a similar design and several high-end features, there are important distinctions that set the standard and Pro models apart.
Here are the seven biggest differences.
1. Processor and Performance
The most significant difference lies in the chipset. The Xiaomi 17T Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 built on a 3nm process.
The standard Xiaomi 17T uses the Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset built on a 4nm process.
Both phones support LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. However, the Pro model is designed for heavier gaming and AI workloads.
2. RAM and Storage Options
The Xiaomi 17T comes in 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB configurations.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro adds a 12GB+1TB variant for users who need extra storage for high-resolution videos, games, and AI features.

The 17T Pro packs a larger 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W wired HyperCharge and 50W wireless charging.
The standard 17T has a 6500mAh battery with 67W wired charging and no wireless support.
Both devices support wired reverse charging up to 22.5W.
4. Display and Refresh Rate
The Xiaomi 17T Pro features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with up to 144Hz refresh rate.
The Xiaomi 17T offers a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Both displays support Dolby Vision, HDR10+, 12-bit colors, and a peak brightness of 3500 nits.
5. Camera Hardware
Both phones have Leica-tuned triple rear cameras: a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.
However, the 17T Pro uses the newer Light Fusion 950 sensor with a wider f/1.67 aperture, while the standard model uses the Light Fusion 800 sensor.

The Pro model also supports 8K video recording and 4K at 120fps, features absent on the standard version.
6. Connectivity Upgrades
The Xiaomi 17T Pro supports Wi-Fi 7 and dual Bluetooth, while the 17T is limited to Wi-Fi 6E.
Both phones include Bluetooth 6.0, dual SIM, eSIM, NFC, and IP68 certification.

The Xiaomi 17T starts at EUR 749.99 for the 12GB+256GB model and EUR 799.99 for the 12GB+512GB version.
It comes in Violet, Opal White, Blue, and Black.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro starts at EUR 899.99 for the 12GB+256GB variant, EUR 999.99 for 12GB+512GB, and EUR 1099.99 for the 12GB+1TB top model.
Color options include Deep Blue, Deep Violet, and Black.
