Vivo has introduced a new budget smartphone, the Vivo T5 (4G), in Mexico.
The device packs features typically found in higher-priced models, including a large battery and a high refresh rate display.

The Vivo T5 sports a 6.75-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution (1570×720 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The display can reach up to 1250 nits peak brightness.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 4G chipset, paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
It also supports up to 8GB of extended RAM.

A standout feature is the 7,200mAh battery, which supports 44W fast charging.
The device also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, a rarity in this price segment.
The Vivo T5 runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box and includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
For photography, the rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The front houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
Connectivity options include dual SIM 4G, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, and an infrared blaster.
The device measures 166.64 x 78.43 x 8.39mm (black) or 8.49mm (gold) and weighs 219 grams.
