Future Realme phones will launch with ColorOS 17, aligning more closely with Oppo's ecosystem.
The decision aims to simplify software development and streamline updates by sharing resources across the Oppo brand family.
During a media meeting, Realme India confirmed the transition but did not specify which model will debut with ColorOS 17.
The software is expected to appear first on upcoming Oppo devices before reaching Realme's next-generation smartphones.

For most users, the change will feel seamless because Realme UI already shares many design elements, features, and system apps with ColorOS.
