Thunderbolt 5 docking stations have finally arrived in force, with major brands releasing models throughout 2025 and 2026.

The new standard doubles bandwidth over Thunderbolt 4, enabling faster external storage, multiple high-resolution monitors, and higher refresh rates through a single cable.

Not all docks are equal. Some emphasize port variety, others focus on charging power or compact design.

Here are the seven best Thunderbolt 5 docks you can buy now.

UGREEN Maxidok 17-in-1 and 10-in-1

UGREEN launched two docks under its Maxidok line.

The 17-in-1 model includes 17 ports, two Thunderbolt 5 ports at up to 120Gbps, three USB-A and three USB-C ports at 10Gbps, and a built-in M.

2 NVMe SSD slot supporting drives up to 8TB over an 80Gbps connection.

It delivers up to 140W charging and can drive dual 8K displays on compatible Windows systems.

The 10-in-1 model is priced between $229 and $249, offering the same 120Gbps data rate, single 8K or dual 6K display support on Thunderbolt 5 Macs, and 140W power delivery.

The 17-in-1 costs around $389.

Satechi Thunderbolt 5 CubeDock

Satechi's first Thunderbolt 5 product, the CubeDock, was announced at CES 2026 and began shipping in spring 2026.

Its aluminum cube design matches Apple's Mac mini. It includes an M.

2 NVMe SSD slot supporting up to 8TB with read/write speeds up to 6,000MB/s.

The dock features three downstream Thunderbolt 5 ports, 2.5Gb Ethernet, SD and microSD card readers, and 140W laptop charging via an 180W power supply.

It supports dual 6K displays at 60Hz on compatible Macs and up to three displays on Windows or M5 Pro/Max MacBook Pro models.

It lacks built-in HDMI or DisplayPort, so some monitors need adapters. Price: $399.99.

Keychron Thunderbolt 5 Dock (14-in-1)

Keychron, known for keyboards, released its first dock.

The 14-in-1 model uses an Intel-certified Thunderbolt 5 controller with 80Gbps bidirectional bandwidth, supports up to four external displays, and provides 140W charging over a single cable.

The CNC-machined aluminum chassis has a fanless design and can be placed vertically or horizontally.
