Mackenzie Shirilla will not face punishment after Ohio prison authorities reviewed a glammed-up photo of her that appeared on Instagram, TMZ has learned.
The photo, which showed Shirilla dolled up while incarcerated at the Ohio Reformatory for Women, was sent to a family member via a tablet called ViaPath, according to JoEllen Smith, chief spokesperson for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction.

Smith said the Office of Victim Services and the Office of the Chief Inspector reviewed the matter and determined Shirilla did not post the picture herself because inmates do not have access to social media on ViaPath tablets.
Prisoners are allowed to send photos to family members using the tablet as long as they follow prison rules, Smith added.

Since Shirilla did not violate any protocols, she will not be disciplined.
Earlier this week, TMZ Live interviewed Christine Russo, sister of Dominic Russo, who was killed by Shirilla.
Christine blasted Shirilla for taking the sexy selfie and said she is clearly enjoying her notoriety and showing no remorse, which she called heartbreaking.

In 2023, Shirilla was convicted of 12 felony charges, including murder, aggravated vehicular homicide, and felonious assault.
She intentionally drove her car into a brick wall at around 100 MPH, killing Dominic and his friend Davion Flanagan.

She is serving a sentence of 15 years to life with the possibility of parole. Her first parole eligibility date is in 2037.
