Alannah Keyser, a contestant on "Love Island USA," has broken her silence after being abruptly removed from the Peacock reality dating series.
Her exit followed the emergence of old footage and social media posts that drew intense criticism online.

In a TikTok video posted shortly after her departure, Keyser addressed the controversy directly.
She explained that the video in question was recorded six years ago and that the language she used is no longer part of her vocabulary.
She apologized to anyone who was offended by her actions.
Keyser also pushed back against how she was portrayed on the show, suggesting that the editing did not reflect her full experience in the villa.

She wrote in the caption that "reality TV is HEAVILY edited" and that her conversations and kisses with other boys were unfortunately not aired.
According to Keyser, key interactions during Casa Amor—particularly her connections with contestants of color—were not shown.
This omission, she implied, contributed to the public's negative perception after fans noticed her limited screen time with them.
She ended her statement with a black screen and text reading: "the video cut but it's always been in my nature to spread positivity and help others & I will continue to do so."
Production Response
Peacock confirmed to TMZ that Keyser would no longer appear on the show after last Thursday's episode.

The decision came after a video showed her using the N-word while singing Roddy Ricch's "The Box," along with an alleged past Instagram comment that also contained a racial slur.
The clips spread rapidly on social media, triggering widespread backlash.
However, production sources told TMZ that the resurfaced video and posts were not publicly available during casting and vetting.
They only emerged after Keyser had already joined the show.
