Sidney Starr, known for appearing on "Love & Hip Hop," has been placed in a special section of the Fulton County jail.
The move comes after her arrest on Sunday, and it is linked to her identifying as a trans woman.

She was booked on charges including sexual battery against a child under 16, aggravated sexual molestation, and sodomy.
The accusations stem from an incident at a hotel in Hapeville, Georgia, where she allegedly sodomized a juvenile.
Starr, however, has claimed the interaction was consensual.

A representative for the Fulton County Sheriff's Office explained that during the intake process, Starr "identified as someone who engages in a particular lifestyle."
This identification led jail officials to house her in the vulnerable population unit designated for the LGBTQ community.
The representative also clarified that her criminal charges had no bearing on her housing assignment.
She faces no restrictions and has no extra security, even though alleged child predators are often targets for other inmates.

Starr has vehemently denied all allegations and charges against her.
According to the Sheriff's rep, Starr is living in a dormitory and follows the same daily routine as other inmates, including three meals a day, recreation, phone privileges, and showers.
Starr has appeared on several reality shows, including "Love and Hip Hop New York."

In one episode, she visited a doctor for sex reassignment surgery and revealed her identity as a woman.
