Microsoft has officially launched its latest Surface devices, the 12th Edition Surface Pro and 8th Edition Surface Laptop, now available for consumers starting June 16.
Enterprise models will follow on July 14.

The key upgrade in this generation is the integration of Qualcomm's new Snapdragon X2 architecture, offering significant performance and AI capabilities.
Snapdragon X2 Processors and AI Performance
Both devices are powered by either the 10-core Snapdragon X2 Plus or the 12-core Snapdragon X2 Elite processor.
The chips include a Hexagon NPU capable of 80 TOPS, designed to handle local AI processing tasks in Windows.
Memory configurations start at 16GB and can be upgraded to 64GB. Storage options range from 256GB to 1TB, with the 15-inch laptop starting at 512GB.

Surface Laptop Specifications
The Surface Laptop comes in 13.8-inch and 15-inch sizes. The 13.8-inch model starts at $1,599 and features a 120Hz LCD with 201 PPI.
Battery life is rated at up to 20 hours of local video playback.
The 15-inch version starts at $1,699, offers a 262 PPI display, and adds a MicroSDXC card reader.

Both laptops include two USB-C/USB4 ports and one USB-A port. The 13.8-inch model is also available in a new Jade color, alongside Platinum, Black, and Dune.
Surface Pro 12 Specifications
The 13-inch Surface Pro 12 starts at $1,499 and comes in Platinum, Black, and Dune.
A notable addition is an optional OLED display, which retains the 120Hz dynamic refresh rate.
The tablet features a 1440p ultrawide front-facing camera, Wi-Fi 7 support, and two USB-C/USB4 ports.
