Logitech has expanded its G3 Series lineup with the G316 X 98 wired mechanical gaming keyboard.

The new model will be available starting June 30, 2026, at a price of $119.99. Customers can choose between black and white color options.

Specifications and Features

The keyboard adopts a 98% layout, retaining a number pad while occupying less desk space than a full-size board.

It supports an 8,000Hz polling rate, designed to reduce input latency for competitive gamers.

Logitech offers two switch choices: a tactile variant with a 2.2mm actuation distance and 55g force, and a linear option with a 1.9mm actuation distance and 40g force.

The board is hot-swappable, allowing users to replace switches with standard cross-hatch stem alternatives.

The G316 X features a gasket-mounted structure with internal sound-dampening layers to minimize metallic ping and produce a quieter typing sound.

A dot-matrix LED display sits in the top right corner, showing system settings.

A physical dial next to it controls volume, media playback, brightness, and report rate without needing software.

The keyboard comes with PBT keycaps, known for resisting the oily shine common on cheaper plastic keycaps.

Per-key RGB lighting and a light bar with 30 customizable zones are managed through Logitech's G Hub software.

G Hub also enables the 8 kHz polling rate, custom macros, key remapping, and game mode configuration.

Weighing 880 grams without its 1.8-meter cable (920 grams with cable), the keyboard measures approximately 15.1 inches wide by 5.5 inches deep.

It connects via a standard USB-A port and is compatible with Windows 10 or newer and macOS 12 or newer.
