Samsung has officially announced the stable rollout of the One UI 9 update for select high-end Galaxy smartphones.
The news comes after a wait of nearly four months since the beta program began.
In a post on the Samsung Newsroom, the company confirmed that the update is now available for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Samsung says the rollout will gradually expand to other Galaxy devices, though it has not yet revealed which models will be included.
A detailed rollout schedule is expected to be published soon.
Availability and How to Update
For the Galaxy S26 series, the stable One UI 9 update is live, but it may not be available to all users immediately.
The rollout varies by region and can take a few days to reach all units.
Users can manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software updates > Download and install if they have not received a notification.
Samsung may soon begin rolling out One UI 9 to devices that are already part of the beta program.
These devices include the Galaxy Z Flip 7, Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6, Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 FE, Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, S24 FE, Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, Galaxy A57, A56, A55, Galaxy A37, A36, A35, and Galaxy A25.
New Features in One UI 9
One UI 9 brings several exciting upgrades, such as the new My FanCam for tracking a selected person in a recorded video.
It also introduces new Generative and Editable Cards on Now Brief.
These features are likely to remain restricted to select high-end Galaxy devices.
However, a host of changes will come to all One UI 9 devices, including an even more customizable Quick Panel, a new Tape feature in Samsung Notes, extended Game Booster options, and improved multi-monitor support and windowing options in Samsung DeX.
Samsung is expected to announce more details as the update reaches additional Galaxy devices.
