Xiaomi has expanded its home wellness lineup with the Mijia Sterilizing Foot Bath 2.
Pre-orders are now open, positioning the device as a more hygienic and easier-to-use upgrade for at-home foot spas.
The standout feature is a patented pipe sterilization system. Xiaomi placed an ultraviolet component deep inside the water pipes to sanitize internal pathways.
The company claims a 99.9% sterilization rate, backed by testing authorities. This method avoids direct UV exposure risks while circulating and purifying water during use.
Massage and Spray Upgrades
The massage system now works in three sections: rolling kneading on the soles, finger-pressure support for the arches, and tapping on the heels.
A soft TPE silicone pad follows the natural shape of your feet.
A retractable rain-curtain spray system uses a centrifugal pump to pressurize water into a gentle cascading spray that pats the legs.
Spray height adjusts across three levels: above the water, at the surface, or below it.
The tank is 6.7% taller than the previous version at 382 mm, allowing deeper soaking up to the calves.
A 950 W heater with DPS technology and NTC intelligent temperature control provides quick heating and stable temperatures.
Water temperature can be set from 35°C to 48°C in 1°C steps, with timers from 5 to 60 minutes.
The machine remembers preferred settings.
Safety features include seven layers of protection: water-electricity separation, leakage prevention, over-temperature safeguards, low-temperature burn protection, dry-burn prevention, and other electrical and electromagnetic controls.
Practical details include a hidden telescopic handle, lockable straight wheels plus omnidirectional ones, a low-positioned drain, a fully enclosed TPE massage plate with a removable washable filter, and a place to store the power cord.
