Nubia has introduced the LiveClip 2, a new pair of open-ear clip-style earbuds that went on sale starting September 16.
The earbuds are positioned as an affordable option focused on comfort, with a design that avoids inserting into the ear canal.
A standout feature is the charging case, which comes in smoked black and transparent finishes.
It includes three switchable RGB lighting effects, adding a visual element to the accessory.
Design and Audio Specifications
Each earbud uses a C-shaped bridge made from memory metal and soft skin-friendly silicone.
This construction is intended to follow the natural shape of the ear, keeping the buds secure without pressure during extended wear.
At just 5.0g per bud, they carry a life waterproof rating, meaning they can handle sweat and light moisture.
Sound is delivered through 11mm composite titanium diaphragm drivers.
For AI voice assistant access, users can press and hold either the left or right bud for two seconds.
The earbuds support Bluetooth 6.0 with a wireless range of about 10 meters.
Battery life is rated at around 6.5 hours on a single charge, extending to roughly 30 hours total with the case.
The case measures 62 × 62 × 30 mm and includes a Type-C port.
It houses a 300 mAh battery that powers the two 35 mAh cells inside the earbuds.
Currently, the LiveClip 2 is offered only in black.
Pricing and Availability
The Nubia LiveClip 2 is priced at 289 yuan and is already listed on major Chinese e-commerce platforms.
It serves as an upgrade over the original LiveClip from earlier in 2025, which had 4.5g buds, 10mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.4, and launched at around 180 yuan.
The new model increases driver size, adopts a newer Bluetooth standard, improves battery life, and adds the transparent RGB case while retaining the open-ear clip style.
There is no information yet on a global rollout for the LiveClip 2.
