Citizen has added the AT8260-85X to its US lineup, a stainless steel chronograph that sits in the brand's Sport Luxury category.
The watch arrives in the US at $675 through Citizen's website, after launching in the UK last month.
Design and Build
The AT8260-85X uses a 43mm silver-tone stainless steel case, a relatively large footprint for a modern chronograph.
Its emerald-green dial includes three subdials, a date window at 3 o'clock, and an inner ring listing cities for the world time function.
A sapphire crystal provides scratch resistance, while the matching stainless steel bracelet has structured links and a fold-over clasp with push buttons.
Water resistance is rated at 100 meters, making it suitable for swimming and showering but not deep diving.
Eco-Drive and Atomic Timekeeping
Inside, the watch runs on Citizen's Caliber H800 movement with Eco-Drive technology, which converts natural and artificial light into energy.
This eliminates the need for regular battery replacements.
The H800 also features atomic timekeeping through a built-in radio receiver that picks up signals from atomic clocks.
It automatically corrects the time and date overnight, keeping accuracy down to the second without manual adjustment.
The world time function also makes switching between time zones relatively seamless.
