Samsung's unannounced clip-on earbuds have surfaced again in a new leak. The device, reportedly called the Galaxy Buds On, appeared in design vector graphics shared through SammyGuru.
The leak shows the earbud in black and points to a different model number, SM-U600, rather than the SM-R series used by earlier Galaxy Buds.
References to a device named Galaxy Buds Able first appeared in a Samsung app in April.
The new graphics now suggest the product is closer to an official reveal.
Features Tied to an Open-Ear Design
According to the leaked graphics, the Galaxy Buds On will support head gestures that Samsung introduced with the Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro.
The leak does not specify which commands will be available, though playback and call controls are likely possibilities.
The earbuds are also said to offer automatic volume adjustment based on surrounding noise.
In a busy train station or airport, the volume could rise to make audio easier to hear, then drop again in quieter places.
That feature fits a clip-on, open-ear design.
Unlike traditional in-ear earbuds, these do not seal the ear canal, so outside noise can compete more easily with the audio.
Voice controls are reportedly included as well. Users could start a voice memo or activate Gemini and Bixby without reaching for a phone.
Another feature mentioned in the leak is sleep detection.
If the earbuds detect that the wearer has fallen asleep, they could automatically pause audio instead of playing through the night.
Samsung has not officially confirmed the Galaxy Buds On.
No launch date or final specification list has been confirmed, so the features could still change before release.
