A new TMZ documentary claims a fifth plane was targeted by terrorists on 9/11, according to the pilot, flight attendants, an airline dispatcher, and others.
The film, titled "TMZ Investigates 9/11: The Fifth Plane," is currently available on YouTube.
It focuses on United Flight 23, which was scheduled to depart from JFK at 9:00 AM with Los Angeles as its final destination.
Crew Suspicion and Hidden Evidence
According to the documentary, seven people raised suspicion among the crew.
They were seen checking out the cockpit and arguing with a flight attendant not to delay takeoff over a food issue.
The film also points to what it calls hard evidence that people were hiding in the hatch of the plane.
Those individuals reportedly surfaced only after the plane was evacuated and locked, presumably looking to recover incriminating evidence.
The FBI secretly interviewed the entire flight crew and even presented them with a lineup, per the documentary.
Yet Flight 23 became a deep, dark secret, with the government, the FBI, and United Airlines all remaining radio silent.
