Casio has announced a new G-Shock watch created with Tokyo-based streetwear label BlackEyePatch. This is their third joint release.
The DW-5600BEP-9 will launch in October 2026, priced at ¥19,800 (about $129) in Japan. Its presence on Casio's global site suggests international availability.
Design and materials
Based on the classic square DW-5600, this model features a bright gold bezel and strap paired with a black digital display.
The design draws inspiration from hip-hop culture, fitting BlackEyePatch's aesthetic.
An engraved BlackEyePatch logo adorns the stainless steel case back, and the watch comes in custom packaging.
The bezel and band use bio-based resin, part of Casio's shift to renewable materials.
Specifications and features
The case measures 48.9 x 42.8 x 13.4 mm and weighs 53 grams. It offers standard G-Shock shock resistance and 200-meter water resistance.
Powered by a CR2016 battery with an estimated five-year life, it includes a 1/100-second stopwatch, 24-hour countdown timer, multi-function alarm, and hourly time signal.
The white LED backlight can flash on alerts.
The calendar is pre-programmed until 2099, and timekeeping accuracy is ±15 seconds per month.
