Newly released court documents show convicted killer Karmelo Anthony expressed hatred for Black women and gay people in text messages that were not presented during his trial.
The documents, obtained by The Daily Mail, include messages where Anthony wrote that he "f***ing [despises] black bitches," adding that they "need to go die."
In other texts from 2021, when Anthony was 13 or 14, he told a friend he supported Donald Trump over Joe Biden because Trump doesn't like gay people, and neither did he.
He also wrote, "These f***ing gay people are f***ing everything up."
Weapons and Disturbing Videos
The legal documents also include photos of Anthony posing with a handgun and an AK-47-style rifle.
The Daily Mail reports he took a video of himself pointing a gun at a house before running away on January 4, 2025.
In November 2024, Anthony bragged to a then-girlfriend about taking a gun and knife to school.
This detail is especially chilling given that he stabbed Austin Metcalf to death six months later with a knife he pulled from his bag.
Anthony's legal team is working on his appeal after a jury convicted him of murder in June, sentencing him to 35 years in prison.
These damaging details were kept out of the trial due to a gentleman's agreement between the prosecution and defense to focus on the incident itself.
