Milo Yiannopoulos, a former Kanye West executive, is facing allegations that he sent racist text messages to his estranged husband, John Campbell, before his recent ICE detention.
The alleged texts, submitted in court and obtained by TMZ, reportedly contain multiple uses of the N-word and other derogatory language.
In one message dated March 2025, Yiannopoulos allegedly wrote, "But you are worthless to me ... worthless.
Stupid worthless n*****. I hope you rot in hell with your monkey ancestors.
I was only using you for a Green Card."
Another alleged message from December 2024 shows Yiannopoulos demanding obedience, writing, "I pay you obey. Get used to it if you want your carefree lifestyle to continue."
An undated text reportedly reads, "You will need to regulate your ugly tribal n***** music if you wish to reside here.
I don't think it’s going to work having your family here next week. Best they find a hotel.
Thanks."
Restraining Order and Denials
In June 2025, Campbell filed for a restraining order, alleging physical abuse and harassment throughout their seven-year marriage.
Yiannopoulos denies the allegations, calling some texts "obvious fakes" and claiming Campbell sent them from his phone.
He also stated he "categorically and absolutely denies" using the N-word with hateful intent, though he admitted he might have "mockingly echoed it back" in heated arguments.
In his response, Yiannopoulos claimed Kanye West gave him a lifetime pass to use the racial slur.
This contradicts his 2016 interview with the New York Times, where he denounced the slur, saying, "I wouldn't say the N-word.
It's an ugly, hateful word."
The court case was still ongoing when ICE arrested Yiannopoulos in New Orleans on Thursday. He remains in a detention center awaiting a hearing.
