Aigo has introduced the PL10 flash drive in China, designed for iPhone and iPad users who need to transfer files without relying on cloud storage or cables.
The device is now listed on JD. com.
The PL10 features a T-shaped aluminum body that connects directly to the bottom of a phone or tablet.
It includes a Lightning connector for Apple devices and a USB-C connector for laptops, newer iPads, and other compatible hardware.
The drive supports USB 3.2 and carries Apple's MFi certification. It is compatible with iPhones from the iPhone X series through the current iPhone 17 lineup.
Physical write protection and app features
A physical write-protection switch lets users toggle between writable and read-only modes.
In read-only mode, files can be viewed but not edited, overwritten, or deleted, adding protection against accidental changes.
To manage files on an iPhone, users must install the Aigo Link app, which is available only for iOS and iPadOS.
The app allows backing up uncompressed photos, videos, and Live Photos from local storage or iCloud.
One limitation is that the app must remain open during backups; locking the phone or switching apps may interrupt the process.
The app also includes a custom camera interface for recording directly to the drive, supporting RAW photos and a picture-in-picture mode for simultaneous 1080p front and rear video.
Standard video recording supports up to 4K at 60fps on the iPhone 17 series, while iPhone 16 and older models are limited to 4K at 30fps.
The drive can handle ProRes Log and HDR files, though some iPhone models may require using Apple's native Camera app for these formats.
The Aigo Link app also supports Face ID and Touch ID, allowing users to protect specific files with biometric authentication.
Pricing and availability
The PL10 comes in three storage capacities: 128GB for 399 yuan ($59), 256GB for 599 yuan ($89), and 512GB for 999 yuan ($149).
It is currently listed on JD. com in China.
