Huawei has officially announced the pricing for its Pura X View, the wide-screen phone first teased last month.
The device was unveiled at a Huawei event today, with pre-orders opening on September 9.
The Pura X View comes in three configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage at 5,999 yuan (about $893), 512GB at 6,999 yuan (about $1,042), and a top-tier 12GB with 1TB at 8,499 yuan (about $1,266).
Early buyers receive five purchase gifts, and student discounts can reach up to 944 yuan (about $141).
Huawei also offers two official cases: a vegan leather magnetic case for 129 yuan (about $19) and a pen box-style case for 469 yuan (about $70) that holds a stylus.
Wide display and slim design
The Pura X View measures just 6.68mm thick and weighs 201 grams.
It features a 6.39-inch display with a 2232 × 1320 resolution and a 16:9.5 aspect ratio.
Bezels are kept at just 1.05mm on all sides, and the panel reaches a peak brightness of 6,500 nits with 2160Hz PWM dimming.
The wider screen aims to make videos, books, games, and documents more comfortable to view, reducing black bars common on standard phones.
Camera and performance
For photography, the Pura X View sports a 200MP RYYB main camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor and f/1.8 aperture.
It also includes a red maple primary color sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto, and a 112-degree ultra-wide camera.
Additional features include AI pose suggestions and 3D dynamic photos.
The phone runs HarmonyOS 7 and introduces Huawei Share remote sending, allowing users to send files to contacts even when not nearby.
Under the hood, the Kirin 9030S chipset powers the device, paired with a full-area VC cooling system and a ring-type gain antenna.
A large 7,000mAh silicon-anode battery and a four-microphone setup complete the package.
Huawei unveiled the Pura X View alongside the Mate XT 2 tri-fold phone.
