Motorola has expanded its Edge 70 lineup with the new Edge 70 Plus, a model that brings a high-refresh-rate display, a powerful camera system, and a large battery.
The device features a 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 5,200 nits.
The screen supports HDR10+, 10-bit color, and 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and it is Pantone Validated.
Under the hood, the Edge 70 Plus is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
RAM Boost can extend memory up to 24GB, and storage is expandable via microSD up to 1TB.
The phone runs Android 16 and is promised five years of security updates through September 2031.
In the camera department, the Edge 70 Plus sports a 200-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, All Pixel Focus, and Ultra Pixel Technology.
It is accompanied by a 2-megapixel macro camera and a dedicated light sensor, while a 32-megapixel front camera handles selfies.
The device also includes eSIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Edge 70 Plus is rated IP64 for water resistance and meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards.
It is available in Pantone shades: Gray Lilac, Mountain View, and Milky Blue.
The sole configuration (8GB+256GB) is priced at £529.99 / €599.99.
Pre-orders are open now, with shipments starting September 23.
