Timex has teamed up with Fender to release two new watches inspired by iconic guitars, marking Fender's 80th anniversary and the Telecaster's 75th.
The collection includes a Telecaster-themed gift set and a Stratocaster-inspired model, both available on the Timex US website.
Design and pricing
Both watches feature a 37mm polished stainless steel case, 12mm thickness, and 20mm lug width.
They run on a quartz analog movement with an SR626SW battery and include a domed acrylic crystal and 50 meters of water resistance.
The Telecaster 75th Anniversary Giftset costs $299 and sports an ice blue dial with a white guitar graphic.
Its second hand is shaped like a Telecaster headstock, and the caseback has a special 75th-anniversary engraving.
The set includes a black leather strap with turquoise stitching and an extra fabric strap resembling a guitar strap.
The Stratocaster version, priced at $269, uses a mother-of-pearl dial to mimic Fender's Pearloid pickguards.
It features a Stratocaster headstock-shaped second hand and a crown molded like a guitar tone knob.
This model has luminous hands and hour markers, plus a brown leather strap with yellow stitching.
Both watches come with quick-release spring bars for easy strap changes and include a co-branded tortoiseshell guitar pick.
