Huawei has expanded its wearable lineup globally with the Watch GT 7 and GT 7 Pro, following their initial debut in China last month.
The announcement came during a major event in Munich, where the company also introduced the Watch 6, Watch D3, and FreeBuds Neo.
The standard Watch GT 7 is available in 46mm and 41mm sizes, with eight color options including Yellow, Blue, and Pink.
The GT 7 Pro, on the other hand, comes in three colors: Yellow, Green, and Black, and features a more premium build.
Advanced Tracking for Snow Sports and Cycling
A key highlight is indoor snow sports tracking, which uses multiple sensors to detect skiing and snowboarding, even without GPS.
The watch monitors posture and elevation changes to track active time and can distinguish between actual runs and time on ski lifts.
For outdoor skiing, the Huawei Health app offers maps for over 3,000 ski resorts.
New features include Turn Detection to count turns and G-Force tracking to measure centrifugal force during sharp corners.
Cyclists benefit from Climb Planning, which reveals upcoming climbs before a ride, and Climb Broadcast, providing gradient and remaining distance during ascents.
Sharp Turn Alerts use haptic and voice warnings when approaching corners too quickly.
After workouts, Huawei's AI Workout Analysis reviews training data to help users understand their effort.
Health Features and Battery Life
Health Insights now includes a morning briefing with a Physical Readiness score, based on sleep quality, HRV, emotion, and active calories.
The 46mm Watch GT 7 and GT 7 Pro offer up to 21 days of battery life with light use, thanks to high-silicon stacked batteries.
Both watches support Curve Pay for contactless payments and include Huawei MultiPass, offering three months of Health+ and up to 90 days of partner app access.
Buyers also receive two years of Worry-Free Care covering the display, battery, and back cover.
Pricing and Availability
The Huawei Watch GT 7 is available in the UK from September 2 at £279.99, while the GT 7 Pro starts at £379.99.
They can be purchased through the Huawei Store, Amazon, Currys, Argos, and select retailers.
Customers who buy between September 2 and October 13 will receive a £50 discount coupon.
