Evan Rachel Wood says the original 'Practical Magic' cast ignored her after she was recast in the sequel, with only new star Joey King reaching out.
Wood, who played Kylie Owens in the 1998 film at age 11, praised King on Instagram Tuesday, writing, "I really appreciated Joey King reaching out to me because no one who worked on the original film did.
She’s a sweetheart."
Her comment carries clear shade toward her former co-stars for not contacting her after the news of her departure.

Joey King plays Kylie in the upcoming sequel, due out next week, and has been effusive in praising Wood, telling The Hollywood Reporter she was "so appreciative of the support that she showed to me and to the rest of the cast."
However, Wood's support for the rest of the cast appears to have its limits.
Director Susanne Bier explained the decision not to bring back Wood or Alexandra Artrip, who played Antonia in the original, was not personal but due to the lack of a de-aging spell, as they wanted younger versions of the characters.
Producers may have pulled off the change, but Wood is not impressed.
