Xiaomi has launched a new high-capacity air conditioner in China: the Mijia Powerful Wind Floor-Standing Air Conditioner Ultra 3HP.
Priced at 5,999 yuan ($886), it is now available through Xiaomi's retail channels and major online platforms.

The 3-horsepower unit is designed for large living rooms and open floor plans.
It uses a 25.1 cc dual-cylinder compressor with 19% more displacement than standard configurations, paired with dual-row pure-copper evaporators and condensers for increased heat-exchange surface area.
The air conditioner delivers a maximum cooling capacity of 11,000W and heating capacity of 16,000W.
Xiaomi claims that in 140Hz high-frequency mode, it can cool a room in 15 seconds and provide heat in 30 seconds.

Air distribution is handled by dual sine-wave motors generating 1,800 cubic meters per hour of airflow.
The unit features a 115-degree wide-angle sweep and can push air up to 16 meters.
Directional settings include Sky Curtain Wind for ceiling cooling and Carpet Wind for floor heating, preventing direct drafts.
Despite its high output, the air conditioner has an Annual Performance Factor (APF) rating of 4.90, meeting China's Super Level 1 energy efficiency standard.

Xiaomi estimates its built-in energy-saving algorithms can reduce electricity consumption by roughly 660kWh per year.
The unit operates in temperatures from -35°C to 65°C, maintaining stable performance in extreme cold or heat.
It runs on HyperOS Connect, enabling vehicle-to-home automation and voice control via Xiao AI assistant.
An onboard AI module handles real-time temperature and airflow adjustments, while cloud connectivity supports OTA updates and remote diagnostics for filter or refrigerant alerts.

The physical design features matte exterior panels, an ITO touch display, and a sliding air outlet that hides when the unit is off.
