Specifications and Features

The HL6820GTV employs a 0.47-inch DMD chip to deliver 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160) resolution.

Instead of a conventional lamp, it uses a laser light source that achieves 4,000 ANSI lumens in standard mode, making it suitable for rooms with ambient daylight.

An Eco mode reduces brightness to 3,200 lumens, lowers fan noise to 29 dBA, and extends the laser's lifespan from 20,000 to 30,000 hours.

Acer claims this laser system consumes 35% less power than lamp-based projectors at equivalent brightness.

The projector covers the Rec. 709 color gamut and offers a dynamic contrast ratio of 3,500,000:1.

It includes a built-in Google TV dongle, enabling direct access to streaming apps and voice search via the remote without an external streaming stick.

Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 ports. For gaming, the projector supports a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms input lag at 1080p resolution.

It also features Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) up to 144Hz to minimize screen tearing when connected to a PC or current-gen console.

Weighing 3.4 kg, the HL6820GTV has a 1.3x manual zoom and a throw ratio of 1.127 to 1.465, allowing a 100-inch image from 2.5 meters away.

Setup options include four-corner adjustment, manual vertical and horizontal keystone correction, and 360-degree projection.
