Jay Leno has filed court documents in New Hampshire, requesting that the state recognize his wife Mavis's conservatorship established in California.

The move is tied to his plan to sell a property the couple owns in the Granite State.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, the comedian wants to sell "certain real estate located in New Hampshire" that is held as community property.

The property appears to be a two-bedroom, two-bathroom ranch built in 1995, listed for just under $400,000.

Leno put the home on the market in June. He has been serving as Mavis's caretaker throughout her battle with dementia.
