Jordan Salinas, the armed bystander who exchanged gunfire with the Idaho In-N-Out mass shooter, says the suspect lost his composure once bullets started flying.
In an interview with ABC News on Monday, Salinas detailed Saturday's deadly attack at the In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls.

The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Chad Williams, fatally shot three people and wounded seven others before dying from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Salinas said he spotted Williams pointing a rifle at passing vehicles from behind a traffic sign.
According to Salinas, Williams appeared calm while aiming at cars, but that changed as soon as Salinas opened fire.

“All his bravado went down the drain,” Salinas recounted, noting that Williams “crumbled” emotionally and fled the scene.
An off-duty police officer also fired at Williams during the confrontation.

Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks praised both Salinas and the officer, saying their actions drove the suspect away and prevented more casualties.
Williams' body was later found nearby with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
