Casio's new A140WE series, released in June 2026, builds on its reputation for reliable, affordable digital watches. It focuses on slightly more premium materials and finishes.
Priced at $110 (or $130 for the gold-tone A140WEG-9A), it sits in an accessible bracket while offering a noticeable step up in design from entry-level resin models.
The biggest update is the case shape.
Measuring 39mm by 36.8mm, the A140WE softens the traditional squared-off Casio silhouette with rounded curves on a chrome-plated resin case.
This makes it more versatile, blending easily with everyday clothing rather than looking purely utilitarian.
Casio also added a sunray finish to the dial, available in navy, gray, or light gold, behind the digital LCD.

While 35mm might sound small by recent standards, it aligns with the trend toward traditional, compact watch sizes.
The smaller footprint makes it unobtrusive on the wrist and comfortable for daily wear.
