Casio has introduced two new analog watches to its Standard Collection in Japan: the MTP-1440DJ-1A and MTP-1440DJ-7B.

Both models are set to launch later this month with a retail price of ¥7,700 (around $49).

The two watches share the same case and bracelet design, differing mainly in their dials.

The MTP-1440DJ-1A features a black dial with baton-style markers for a cleaner look, while the MTP-1440DJ-7B sports a white dial with large Arabic numerals for better readability and a more casual style.

Both watches have a compact case measuring 41 x 36.3 x 8.6 mm and weigh 92 grams, keeping them relatively light despite the metal bracelet.

The stainless steel bracelet comes with a one-touch triple-fold clasp, while the case is made of brass with a silver ion-plated coating.

The dial is protected by standard mineral glass.

Functionally, these are simple three-hand analog quartz watches with a dual day and date window at the 3 o'clock position.

They offer 5 ATM (50 meters) water resistance, enough for splashes, rain, and brief immersion, but not for swimming.

The quartz movement runs on a standard battery with an expected lifespan of about three years.

Casio also notes that the white-dial variant will ship in eco-friendly packaging.

Both models are currently available for pre-order through Casio's online store ahead of their official rollout later this month.
