Citizen has expanded its Peyten watch lineup in the UK with two new models that rely on the brand's Eco-Drive technology.
The EM1230-54X and EM1234-53L are analog timepieces with a compact 30mm case size.

Instead of a traditional battery, these watches use a solar panel hidden beneath the dial.
The panel captures natural and artificial light, converting it into energy stored in a rechargeable cell.
This allows the watch to power itself as long as it receives regular light exposure.
Pricing and design differences
The EM1230-54X is priced at £249.00.

It features a silver-tone stainless steel case, a matching link bracelet, and a purple dial with applied markers and a three-hand movement.
The watch is protected by a mineral crystal.
The EM1234-53L costs £269.00, £20 more than the silver model.
For the higher price, the case and bracelet get a two-tone stainless steel finish, and the dial changes from purple to blue.

The rest of the specifications remain identical.
Both watches come with a fold-over clasp with push buttons and a water resistance rating of 50 meters.
This makes them suitable for basic water exposure and surface swimming, but not for diving or high-pressure water sports.
